Robin Watson - Presidente e Amministratore
Robert creò la società Watson & Hillhouse nel 1972. Dopo avere guadagnato esperienza presso la società Garretts di Leiston, e in seguito presso BSP, che introdusse l’impiego delle barriere di fondazione nel Regno Unito, presso la sede centrale di Claydon. Lavorando per la società di noleggi di BSP, in seguito acquisita da Tilbury Plant, ha conseguito una notevole esperienza nel settore della palificazione e allacciato numerosi importanti contatti a livello internazionale.
Phillip est entré chez Watson & Hillhouse dès sa sortie de l’école en 1980 au poste de Responsable des locations stagiaire, et a été nommé Responsable des locations en 1983. En 1989, après avoir dirigé avec succès le bureau des locations pendant 6 ans, il a été promu Responsable du dépôt; à ce poste, il a été résponsable des opérations ainsi que de la gestion du dépôt, du contrôle de l’usine ainsi que des ateliers et des capacités de ressource du service des réparations.
En 1990, la Société a obtenu la commande de l’Agence Européenne pour la “Machine de pression par empilement silencieuse” japonaise de Kowan, Worker Still : ce système n’avait jamais été utilisé au Royaume-Uni. En 1992, la société a demandé à Philip de prendre la fonction de commercialisation de Still Worker et a été nommé Responsable des ventes et du marketing. Phillip a étudié l’Administration des entreprises et le marketing à l’University College du Suffolk. Il a été nommé Directeur général en 2004.
Terry Rudland FCA - Finance Director & Company Secretary
Terry joined Watson and Hillhouse in July 2005. He previously spent 5 years as Group Accountant at TRG Recruitment Services a service based company working primarily in the recruitment sector.
Prior to this Terry worked for 15 years for Vinten Broadcast Ltd a precision engineering manufacturer of television camera mounting systems sold worldwide. Terry was Financial Controller and involved in all aspects of accounting and a number of computer projects. Previously he worked for a retail company, also as an Accountant. Terry is a Chartered Accountant.
Marcus è il cofondatore e uno dei due Direttori Responsabili di Madaw Consulting, una società specializzata in consulenza strategica, Direttore di Northumberland Ventures, una società per lo sviluppo di proprietà residenziali, e Direttore di Catalyst Media Investments, una società specializzata in investimenti nei settori dei media e del tempo libero. Marcus è inoltre Direttore di svariate altre società nel settore dei media, intrattenimento e commercio al dettaglio.
Marcus ha lavorato nella City prima di co-fondare Madaw e Catalyst, inizialmente con Duncan Lawrie, un merchant banker privato presso cui egli lavorò prima come Marketing Manager e poi come Analista Investimenti coinvolto soprattutto negli investimenti tra le società tecnologiche non quotate. Marcus passò da Duncan Lawrie a Sigma Technology Management, quando tale società venne creata, nel dicembre 1996. Sigma venne fondata per fornire consulenze e fondi per le società dei settori tecnologia, media e telecomunicazioni. Marcus ha lavorato come Vice Direttore dei settori della consulenza e finanza societaria.
Paul è tornato recentemente nella nostra società dopo un’assenza di 13 anni. Ha iniziato la carriera nella elettricista nella Royal Air Force prima di entrare alla NCK Rapier, noto produttore di grù, come tecnico per la manutenzione elettrica e supervisore. Nel 1979, Paul entrò nella Watson & Hillhouse come installatore e manutentore elettrico, coprendo tutti i prodotti della società e con conoscenze specializzate in impianti idraulici ed elettrici. Lasciando Watson & Hillhouse nel 1989, ha lavorato con il gruppo francese specializzato in opere di fondazione Soletanche Fondaco, come Sovraintendente e Manager impianti. Nel 1993 si trasferì a Hong Kong come Manager di officina per Bachy Solentache. Nel 2001 divenne consulente tecnico per indagini su incidenti, procedure di riparazione e sicurezza e assistenza tecnica in generale per officine e varie società asiatiche.
Neil lavora nella Società fin dal 1979, al termine degli studi, con il ruolo di apprendista tecnico assistenza. L’apprendistato venne completato nel 1983 e venne seguito da 6 anni di servizio come tecnico per assistenza. Nel 1989 divenne il manager del sito Nord, e nel 1993 venne trasferito alla sede di Ipswich, nel team Vendite e Marketing, con l’incarico di promuovere i servizi di noleggio per le macchine Still Worker e fornire assistenza tecnica all’intero team vendite.
Ken began his career with Watson and Hillhouse as apprentice plant fitter, and went on to become UK and European field service engineer for the company for over 12 years. Throughout this period he has seen considerable development of piling equipment and has a thorough piling background, gained from experience of working on a wide variety of plant.
In 1996, Ken moved on to work in the standby power industry as generator technician for a company now part of the Chloride Power group, where he progressed to become regional sales engineer for northern England and Scotland. In 2005 he rejoined Watson and Hillhouse to manage the Northern Depot in Warrington.
Vivian ha iniziato a lavorare nella società nel 1986, al termine degli studi, con il ruolo di apprendista tecnico assistenza. Nel 1991, poco dopo il termine dell’apprendistato, venne promosso al ruolo di Manager officina e assistenza.
Ricky Dade - Service Co-ordinator & Company Health and Safety Officer
Ricky started with the Company in 1999 as an Apprentice Service Engineer and in 2004 qualified as a full Service Engineer. Since 2004 Ricky has also achieved qualifications in electrical installation and electrical engineering.
In April 2008 Ricky was promoted to Service Co-ordinator to manage all site breakdowns. Ricky is also the Company Health and Safety Officer. His interests are watching films and cycling.

Scott Double - Ispettore noleggi
Scott è entrato nella società nel 2001. Ha studiato ingegneria presso l’Otley College e ha deciso di intraprendere la carriera commerciale nel settore delle vendite.
Al termine degli studi, Stephen fece parte del REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) Army Apprentice College per due anni, come apprendista meccanico veicoli e poi ha prestato 25 anni di servizio presso le officine militari. Lasciate le forze armate nel 1998, ha lavorato per due anni nella manutenzione di velivoli per poi entrare nel 2000 nella Watson & Hillhouse.
Keren Lees – Accountants Administrator and Secretary
Keren joined W &H in July 2001 as an Accounts Administrator and as Secretary to the Chairman and Managing Director. Prior to joining W&H, Keren worked for over seven years at Colchester Borough Council as a PA and receptionist, during which time she gained her AAT qualification in accounting.
Marion Stone – Purchase Ledger Controller and Receptionist
Marion started with W &H on a YTS scheme in 1986 and was taken on permanently soon after. Her role in the company has changed over the years from concentrating on filing and typing letters to today being purchase ledger controller and receptionist.
