Introduction
The development of hydraulically - powered, static-load sheet pile pressing equipment in response to severe constructional and environmental problems in high-density inner city areas of Japan provides a very quiet method entirely free from vibration.
Since we introduced the Kowan Still Worker into Europe in 1990, we have successfully completed over 750 contracts in Germany, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy and throughout the UK.
Features/benefits
 No noise or vibration allows piling in built-up areas and in close proximity to existing services.
The WP-150P and WP-150PIII can install 800mm 0/D, 900mm 0/D and 1000mm 0/D interlocking tubular piles.
The WP-150PII can install 600mm 0/D and
700mm 0/D interlocking tubular piles.
Up to 150 ton pressing capacity
Self travelling means only a small crane is required for pitching and it can work in low headroom areas.
Radio controlled and no piling gates required means a productive safe working environment.
Unique Tilting Device allows piling up or down a gradient.
Turns corners and curves
Cost effective alternative to concrete retaining walls i.e. contiguous and diaphragm walls.
Every Still Worker hired by Watson & Hillhouse is supplied with a fully trained operator.
