Plant Hire Controller / Manager
(Warrington Depot)

The ideal candidate will posses:
- Ability to work in both unsupervised and team environments.
- Capability to make day to day decisions to suit the companies and our customer’s best interests.
- Good organizational /planning skills.
- Excellent IT skills, familiar with hire software systems together with good knowledge of M/S Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Some knowledge or experience of construction plant or piling equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in Hire office or similar preferred.
Tasks:
- Run all aspects of the Hire Department; dealing with enquiries via telephone, email, fax advising clients of equipment requirements and making relevant recommendations, plant availability etc
- Creating and sending quotations through our CRM system
- Follow-on telephone calls and negotiation of offers to secure business.
- Raising Hire Agreements from our CRM system to RM system and full administration process from on hire to off hire
- Reporting to the Northern Area Manager and liaising with other departments in Head Office as and when necessary
- Organisation of internal and external transportation in terms of equipment deliveries and collections
- Receiving and dealing with site breakdowns/service calls with a satisfactory response to meet the customer’s needs. Co-ordinate accurate information for forwarding onto service department/ engineers.
- Preparation of miscellaneous charges
- Ordering Supplies for the depot
- All office Admin duties
- Arrange service requirements for company vehicles.
- Petty cash management
