About PVE – Hydraulic Impact Hammers (NL)
The PVE NL range of piling hammers are designed for driving precast and cast in-situ concrete piles, casing piles and sheet piles into cohesive soils, very dense granular soils and rock (depending on strength).
The NL hydraulic impact hammers are designed for fitment onto the Woltman piling rigs. However, they can also be crane suspended.
These versatile hammers can be adapted to suit with the addition or removal of dropweights to create the desired impact energy by means of a modular system. Energy outputs range from 20kNm to 520kNm making them ideal for cohesive soils, very dense granular soils and soft rock.

Configuration
Hydraulic hammers can be fitted with a number of accessories that will assist with your piling job. This includes raking slings and noise reduction accessories.

Extension Hoses
Allows for a greater distance between the power pack and the hammer..
Hydraulic Hammer Dolly Pile
Allows large tubes to be installed which are too big to go in the hammer pile guide.
Hydraulic Hammer Pile Extension
A block placed between the head of the pile and the ram of the driver to form an extension to the length of the pile. Allows piles to be driven underwater whilst hammer stays above the water.
Raking Sling Assembly
Enables the hammer to drive at an angle (by prior arrangement with Watson & Hillhouse).

PVE offers a very sophisticated insulating system for the PVE NL impact hammer range. With the sound insulating system sound reductions up to 10 dB are possible compared to a standard impact hammer. PVE NL impact hammers are continuously subject to further developments for sound proofing and efficiency.

PVE is a leading Dutch developer, manufacturer and provider of hydraulic foundation equipment, specialising in vibration technology – a quiet and intrinsically environment-friendly technology. With the goal of developing sustainable solutions.
Established in 1974 they initially hired out vibratory hammers to foundation contractors.
