Being FORS accredited means that we consider the impact of our fleet vehicles and operate them to have a reduced impact on the environment.  Additionally, as members of the British Safety Council we have a proactive approach to environmental legislation and compliance.  Membership to these professional bodies provides us, and our customers, with the reassurance that our operation is being run in an environmentally sound manner – minimising our potential impact on the environment.

All of our machines run on bio oil and we’ve added hose protection to all our hoses to minimise the risk of damage.  We are committed to the correct and proper disposal of our generated waste and adhere to our duty of care under the Environmental Act of 1990.

We currently operate under our own environmental and waste policies which are annually reviewed and amended and seek to reduce our environmental impact each year.  We are looking to expand our policies in the next year to include:

  • Environmental Action Plan to reduce any adverse impact on the environment
  • Carbon Footprint Calculation and a Carbon Emissions Reduction Plan
  • Production of an annual Environment Report
